vista acpi

The last few builds of Vista -including 5308- give me this error message on my notebook:
The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS.
STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x00000011, 0x00000007, 0xFFD0D010, 0x0100000E)
I have the latest BIOS from Gateway. The notebook is only 2 years old. SUSE 10.x, XP Pro, and Apple's OS X for Intel all work fine. I read on MS's site that you can turn off ACPI during install by holidng down a key but that doesn't seem tow work with Vista.
Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?

I installed Vista on a dual-processor box with no problems.
